After nearly two years of cancelled in-person races, opportunities to once again toe the line IRL are opening up in 2022. From the coveted World Majors (Boston, Chicago, New York, Berlin, London, Tokyo) to ultra-distance trail races and every kilometre in between, runners around the world are ready to start their Garmin's and put their fitness to the test.
So which races are on our radar for 2022? We've put together a list of fan-favourite races suggested from our running community that promise interesting courses, beautiful scenery, and a chance to let those race-day jitters propel you towards a new PB. Some of them may be out of reach this year due to application cut-offs and qualifying times, but they also make pretty fantastic cities for supportive cheer stations, nice weather, and great food. This is by no means an extensive list, so if we missed your favourite race, please feel free to drop it in the comments!
Giving out high-fives is one of the most important jobs on any racecourse!
