New Balance Men's Fresh Foam 880v10 GTX

The 880v10 is a more streamlined version of the 880V6 (which I also have and have run a approximately 600km's on) and less "clunky" than it's predecessor . It definitely has more stability with perhaps a bit less cushioning than the V6 , but is lighter. It's too soon to say how effective the Goretex is as we've had beautiful running weather as of late, but the V6's were amazing - through snow, rain, or slush my feet stayed dry. Am looking for the same performance from the V10's and is the main reason I bought them.

This isn't the most exciting shoe - it's definitely heavy & stiff by normal standards. But they keep your feet warm & dry, so you can keep running through puddles, slush, and cold weather. So even if you're not setting personal bests with these, they're still a lot better than "Ugh, I'm not going running in that."

One thing to note is the treads aren't anything special, so if you're planning on hitting the trails after a night of freezing rain, they might not be up to the task. But they'll definitely handle rain, slush, and snow.
