Not at all what I had expected
I bought the Ultra Boost 3 back in January of this year ( 2019) on sale, to supplement my aging but still good Nike Vamero 12 for treadmill long runs but also for outdoor medium to long runs in the spring. I have been wearing Nike mostly for my running with the odd Brooks and Salomon ( for trail and winter running ). I have been running for over 45years, ran in so many races and distances I have lost count. This shoe has mostly treadmill miles but I recently put it into my outdoor running shoe rotation and this Sunday 11th of August 2019 I went out for a 70min Z2 run and on my route I had to run on a rural road that has some rather large gravel from some fresh road construction. It was only a short distance of about 1km but I felt every single rock on the road almost felt like I was running barefoot. Now these shoes only have 360km ( mostly treadmill ) and the forefoot is completely gone, although I am not sure how much it had to start off with but once I got home and removed the shoes, I placed the shoe on its toe and barely pushed down from the heel and the forefoot pretty much collapsed on it self. Needless to say my feet were pretty sore and tired as well as my legs the next day, and normally this distance of just over 12km at that pace I would not even feel remotely tired. I am a very neutral runner with a light heel strike stride at 188cm tall and just under 80kg in weight and this is by far the worst shoe I have ever run in. As far as I am concerned this is…

Thanks for your review. We always want to hear from our customers about the products they purchase from us. The boost foam in that shoe is generally very durable and the same material they use in all of their technical running shoes but it is very soft. This shoe is meant for road only and we would not recommend it for trails.
