Made using never before seen HOKA ONE ONE® technology, this high-performance shoe features a carbon fiber plate to help propel you forward and accelerate your toe-off. It features PROFLY X foam, our lightest and most resilient foam, and has a wide base for a stable, soft and extremely responsive ride. Complete with a lightweight upper and embroidered design, the Carbon X is your license to speed.

  • Single layer engineered mesh upper offers breathability across forefoot
  • Embroidery reinforcement provides a lightweight midfoot lockdown
  • Gusseted tongue prevents migration across the instep
  • Early stage Meta-Rocker delivers an uptempo and propulsive ride
  • Light and resilient PROFLY X foam sits above the carbon fiber plate while rubberized foam sits below the plate

  • Wider forefoot platform provides support and stability along with an accommodating and comfortable fit
  • Rubberized foam outsole offers a lightweight, responsive ground contact

Love these

Had a pair of Clifton 6 previously. The Carbon X reputation lives up to the hype. Super fast and fun.

Fast and stable and fast

I love the Next% for racing, but they aren't the most stable platform for when the road gets gnarly.

That's why I decided to try out the Carbon X.

Yeah, it doesn't have that fresh out of the box 'let's run a PB' feel, but over the course of a long, fast run, it starts to shine, right where the faster Nike falls off.

Perfect for a stability shoe runner making the transition into a long race zoom machine.

Super comfy.. super fast

I went to the store to pick up a pair of the Nike BRP's which I was very excited for. But when I tried it on, I realized that it isn't as comfortable on my feet as I was hoping for.. so the store rep asked me what I usually run in, which is Hoka's.. and she suggested that I should try the Carbon X (Hoka's counterpart to Nike's BRP).. and I tried them side-by-side and realized this is "the" shoe for me. I took it for a couple of runs, and they are as comfortable as my other Hoka's, but feel faster, which will make it a great race shoe as well.
