I bought these to replace my old Fuel Cell Propels. I did my research and found they were pretty comparable to the Propels.
They were a lot less cushy than I anticipated. They’re just ok. I’m planning on buying another shoe and using these as a back up.

wonderful experience both in the store and on the road
I love buying shoes at Blacktoe because the staff is so knowledgeable. I tried on a few different pairs of shoes before the sales person brought out the NB Fuelcell Rebel .He said he wasn't sold on the shoe at first , but once he gave it a try he discovered nothing but good things. They felt comfortable and light and at a reasonable price I bought a pair. At first I wasn't sure about the " wings " on the side of the shoe but I soon got over it . They are light weight , snug but accommodate my bunions , comfortable and have enough cushion . I did discover after reading about the shoe though , that they are more a 10km , 21km shoe and not a distance shoe , so, I am still in the market to find that distance shoe .

Perfect balance of lightness and cushioning
I'm someone who prefers a light running shoe but requires a reasonable amount of cushioning. I've found fuel cells to be a great shoe in the past, but I was terribly unhappy with my last pair as cushioning was not sufficient for me. I was actually looking at other shoes, not considering the fuel cell based on my last experience, but Black Toe recommended that I give it a try anyway. I was pleasantly surprised and have had such amazing runs in them so far!
