Built with innovative technology and designed without the constraints of world race regulations, the Prime X 2 Strung offers more performance-driven features in a single race shoe. It's constructed with a STRUNG upper, a textile innovation that transforms athlete data into a dynamic material tuned to the athlete's needs. Prime X 2 Strung also has 3 layers of LIGHTSTRIKE PRO, in a stack height of 50mm. With an all-new energy core between two layers of foam, it helps to reduce weight and provide spring in the fore- and midfoot, so you can chase your fastest moment. An outsole featuring Continental compound delivers serious grip on a variety of surfaces.
I couldn’t have ask for better customer service, unfortunately I ordered a Adidas race shoe (final sale) size 11.5,
Had them delivered received them tried them
On and they were to tight. Email the store and within 15 minutes received a response saying I need to ship them back to the store, they made the charge to a size 12 and had the shoe with in a few days. 5 stars to the staff, will definitely recommend Blacktoe. Thank you.
Most people who have an issue with this shoe do so because of the weight. In order to make full use of the 50mm stack height and 2 carbon plates you either need to be going at a faster pace or be a heavier/stronger runner at slower paces.
I’m 6’3” 200 lbs and strong build. For me these shoes are amazing. Both at slow and fast paces the shoes propel me forward making long distances so much easier. Legs and feet feel great afterwards. For a bigger runner the weight will not be noticeable. They are a big snug, so I’d prefer a half size up, however they don’t make half sizes over size 13, so I choose the 13 instead of going up a full size.
Really Heavy !!! The arch is hurting and poking the inside of your foot. Don’t see the why in those shoes. Enters no rotation nor racing plans. The high stack makes the ankles prone to rolling. Too expensive for all the reasons above.
