Our BlackToe Running monthly coaching and training memberships are specifically designed to assist runners in their training and overall performance. These memberships provide personalized coaching, valuable training materials, and ongoing support to help you succeed on your running journey.

A minimum commitment of three months is required before cancellation. We believe this duration allows you sufficient time to fully benefit from our programs and make significant progress towards your running goals.

We meet every Tuesday at 6:30 PM, year-round, for coached workouts designed to build strength, speed, and confidence. Whether you're training for a race or running for fitness, this team is here to help you keep showing up.

What To Expect

  • Structured Training: Every workout is planned by our coaching team to support two main seasonal builds—spring and fall, each culminating in a key Toronto race.
  • All Paces Welcome: Whether you’re pushing for a new PB or just finding your rhythm again, you’ll find a group that runs at your pace.
  • Community Matters: Get motivated, meet new training buddies, and feel what it’s like to run as part of a real team.

Weekly Team Workout Details

  • When: Every Tuesday at 6:30 PM
  • Where: We meet at BlackToe Running, King Street West, before doing a group warmup to our workout location.
  • How Long: Most sessions last 60–90 minutes

Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend being able to comfortably run 8–10 km at a steady pace before joining, with 6 km as a minimum distance you can cover. While we have a range of pace groups, this will help you get the most out of the workouts, keep up with the flow of the group, and (most importantly) have fun. If you aren’t quite at this distance yet, take a look at our free, beginner-friendly 10-km training plans to help build up your mileage.

Our team supports a wide range of paces, from social cruisers to serious racers. If you're unsure where you fit, don't worry—we’ll help place you in the right group and with the right coach on day one, and you can always adjust as your fitness evolves.

Yes! We support a variety of race goals, including 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and marathon distances. Our coaches are knowledgeable and adaptable, and can help you move through different distances as your fitness progresses. Please see above that we recommend being able to comfortably cover 6 to 10 km as a starting point before joining the club.

Definitely. For runners looking for additional structure, accountability, or customization, we offer enhanced coaching that includes 1:1 feedback, goal-setting support, and access to additional resources. You’ll receive details after signing up.

We run all year long. Our programming is built around two main seasons:

  • Spring Build: Leading to races like the Toronto Marathon in May, the Boston Marathon, or the Sporting Life 10k.
  • Fall Build: Geared toward races like the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon or the Chicago Marathon.
  • Base Build: Focusing on creating a solid base between the spring and fall builds to support your running journey.

Memberships require a minimum three-month commitment, but we strongly recommend sticking around a lot longer to experience the full potential of running with our clubs. Drop-ins aren’t currently available for this club.

Really love the Endurance Tap maple syrup gels!

They go down easy and didn’t upset my stomach. Maple syrup is my favourite sweet so I am an easy sell but I did have 3 in NY this Fall and no problem! Easy to store and open too.
