BlackToe Race Team

The BlackToe Race Team is designed for people who have experienced  running longer distances and demonstrate the positive and supportive attitude that will elevate the performance of others. Race Team members should have completed at least one half marathon and understand the basic principals of different types of training runs.

The BlackToe Race Team is a coached program where members have selected half marathon and or marathon goals for Spring and Fall seasons.  Coach Eric will guide you through the workout every Wednesday at 6:45 PM. This is an interval style workout focusing on speed, running economy, strength, and endurance. 

Members are assigned running mentors who are experienced runners on the team. These mentors are there for all the bad days and good days too! They are there to give advice, answer your questions and talk down your race day nerves. 

As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to pace your teammates through workouts and race day personal records. Need a pacer for your fall goal race? There is always someone willing to lend a hand and get you to the finish line. When members are not racing or pacing, they make excellent cheerleaders (pass the cowbell please). You will race fully supported by your teammates with post race breakfast celebrations to follow. 
 
The BlackToe Race Team is sponsored by New Balance Canada and is capped at 50 members. Members receive a pair of New Balance shoes annually and are given race team shorts and shirts. 

The BlackToe Race Team membership fee is $45 dollars a month with a one time initial fee of $75 . Registration is required. Waiver to be signed including a monthly pre-authorized payment form at your first session.
