Toronto Runs:
Our Monday runs leave from our BlackToe The Well store at 7:00 a.m. This is a relaxed, social run designed to start the week on the right foot. It’s beginner-friendly and truly drop-in, no registration needed. Just show up!
- Where: BlackToe Running The Well (486 Front St West).
- When: Mondays at 6:30 a.m.
- Distance & Pace: This run is time-based (not distance-based). We run ~30 minutes out, then turn around and head back to the store for a total of ~60 minutes. Pace is conversational and inclusive, and we’ll split into smaller pace groups when needed so everyone has people to run with.
- Bag Drop & Bathroom: Yes. Washroom access is available, and you can leave a small bag at the store during the run.
- Routes & Updates: Routes are decided day-of based on weather and the group’s preference.

Our Friday runs leave from our King Street West store & our Midtown store at 6:00 p.m. This run often includes some pace work and will help you improve your speed and endurance. You should have some running experience to jump into this run - it’s a good opportunity to push yourself!
- Where: BlackToe Running King Street West (95 Bathurst Street) & BlackToe Running Midtown (2488 Yonge Street)
- When: Fridays at 6 p.m.
- Distance & Pace: Generally involves a 2km warmup, a 3-7km tempo (faster) block, and a 2km cool down. Pace groups for the tempo segments will typically range from approximately 3:30-6:00 min per km. If it is your first time, please let the run leader know so they can connect you with the right pace group.
- Bag Drop & Bathroom: Yes! (Note that you will have to come back with the run leader to access the store, as our sales staff close the store at 7 pm).

A community favourite! Our Sunday runs are accessible for all levels open to runners 18 and older. We create routes based on our BlackToe Team training programs, but there are many opportunities to turn back early if needed. We also frequently have giveaways, photographers, and other special surprises!
- Where: BlackToe Running King St West (95 Bathurst Street) & BlackToe Running Midtown (2488 Yonge Street).
- When: Sundays at 8:30 a.m.
- Distance & Pace: Distance ranges from 12-24km during the base build seasons (November/December and May/June) and will increase when spring or fall marathon training cycles begin! Pace groups will typically range from approximately 4:45-6:30 min per km. If it is your first time, please let the run leader know so they can connect you with the right pace group. Please do not bring dogs to group runs for the safety of all.

Ottawa Runs:
A community favourite, our Sunday runs are designed for more experienced runners seeking structured group training. Routes follow BlackToe Team programs and are best suited to runners comfortable with sustained efforts. Open to runners 18+.
- Where: BlackToe Running Ottawa (427 Richmond Road, Ottawa).
- When: Sundays at 8:30 a.m.
- Distance & Pace: Distance ranges from 12-24km during the base build seasons (November/December and May/June) and will increase when spring or fall marathon training cycles begin! Pace groups will typically range from approximately 4:45-6:30 min per km. If it is your first time, please let the run leader know so they can connect you with the right pace group. Please do not bring dogs to group runs for the safety of all.
