ROAD TO WATERFRONT IS BACK!
Training for the Toronto Waterfront Marathon, any of the Fall Majors, or just looking for some extra motivation to stay consistent this summer? Join us every Sunday from June 21 through October 11 for our Road to Waterfront long run program.
Whether you're chasing a new PB, tackling a new distance, or simply looking for a supportive group to log your long runs with, everyone is welcome. Consistency is key when it comes to achieving your goals, which is why we'll have dedicated pace leaders, community support, and plenty of exciting perks and activations along the way to keep you motivated all season long.

What is Road to Waterfront?
Road to Waterfront is a free community long run series designed to help you build fitness, confidence, and consistency as you train toward a spring half or full marathon. All you need to do is show up!
From June 21st to October 11th, join us on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. EST at BlackToe Running King West or Midtown. Our community leaders will guide each run, with pace groups ranging from approximately 6:00 min/km to 5:00 min/km, so you can settle in with runners training at a similar pace.
This program is best suited for runners training for a spring half or full marathon who are comfortable covering around 10 km at the start. Of course, you’re always welcome to turn back at any point or modify the route to match your own training needs.
We love rewarding those who show up consistently, so we have some excellent prizes in store for those coming back each week! Scan the QR code each week before the run to earn your way to some awesome prizes. We’ll also have some fun special activations throughout the program. Show up, stay consistent, and let’s make this summer the best one yet!
A Few Notes:
- Participants must be 18+.
- Please leave dogs at home for the safety of all runners.
- No advance registration required.
- You do not need to attend every week.
- Just scan the QR code in-store when you arrive.
- New this build: you must scan the QR code at the store to be able to count your attendance. We will are no longer able to manually track attendance for prizes!
- Bag drop is available at both locations.
