The Adios Pro 5 felt super fast, springy, and comfortable for my entire half marathon. Every step had this bouncy, springy feeling that made it feel like the shoe was helping carry me into the next stride, but it was still cushioned enough that my legs felt protected rather than beat up. I’ve been dealing with shin splints this season, so I’ve been looking for something a little more forgiving than a firmer, stiffer ride. The Adios Pro 5 still had all the responsiveness I wanted from a race shoe, but with enough cushioning to feel much easier on my lower legs over the full distance. I PB’d in my half marathon wearing them, and they’re honestly the best race shoes I’ve tried so far.
